Young horses to take centre stage in October

Let’s turn our attention now to a major French event which is on the horizon in the form of the selle française stallion championships for 2 and 3 year-olds.
The horses will be in action from October 19-23 for the qualifying rounds while the big final is scheduled for October 26-27 at the Equità Lyon.
It’s worth noting that this is an exciting time for French equestrianism following the gold medal at the team event at the Olympics.
What’s more, two of the horses in that team were nurtured in France at the selle française studbook: Sydney Une Prince (Baloubet du Rouet) and Rahotep de Toscane (da Quidam de Revel).
