World class Chilli Morning calls time on career
The renowned eventing star Chilli Morning, the performer of William Fox-Pitt, has officially retired from competition. Chilli Morning will now turn its attention to the breeding sector and be used as a reproducer at the West Kingston Stud run by Tim and Jane Holderness.
To continue, the retirement had been planned for over a year and after achieving so much the curtain has definitively come down on a glittering career. Chilli Morning’s last appearance at a major event came at the Olympic Games in Brazil and with the New Zealand rider Fox-Pitt finished a respectable 12th place.
What’s more, the performer also boasts a victory in the prestigious Badminton circuit not to mention a bronze and silver medal from the 2014 World Equestrian Games. Looking ahead, the horse’s new career as a reproducer will begin this spring although it already has a number of well known offspring such as Chillis Gem paired with Gemma Tattersal.(MC)
