Unstoppable Jung picks up another award
Eventing legend Michael Jung has won another accolade and has been crowned as Reitsmeister (master rider) by the German Equestrian Federation for his feats in the sport.
The award is the latest in the line of a number of achievements such as winning medals at the 2012 and 2016 Olympics.
What’s more, this prize follows on from the Goldene Reitabzeichen and Pferdewirtschaftsmeister won in the past.
The 34 year-old has also caught the eye for his incredible Grand Slam at the CCI4* Burghley, Lexington and Badminton.
Jung is the 24th person in Germany to be named Reitsmeiter as he follows in the footsteps of the last athlete to be given the honour, dressage rider Ingrid Klimke.
