
The latest Equestrian World from Rio 2016

Valentina Truppa’s Olympic performer Fixdesign Chablis has sustained a minor injury and is at risk of missing out on the Olympic Games.
The announcement was made via facebook by Vincenzo Truppa who stated that the injury was most likely sustained in the stalls.
Today the horse will receive a visit from the FISE veterinarian Dr. Eleuteri in which a decision will be made on the fitness and health of Fixdesign Chablis.
The injury represents another setback for Italy’s Olympic dreams in the equestrian sector and follows on from the elimination of eventing star Stefano Brecciaroli during the cross country trial.
On the subject of the eventing discipline, the provisional standings now have Australia’s Christopher Burton in first place with Santano.
Following behind in second is German star Michael Jung with Sam FBW while France’s Nicolas Astier currently occupies third spot.

As for the team event, Australia lead the way with the following riders: Sam Griffiths (Paulank Brockhag), Christopher Burton (Santano II), Stuart Tinney (Pluto Mio) and Shane Rose (CP Qualified).
