Thanks to Maslogarth “he never grows old”

We are talking about Angelo Garbati, the 80-year-old who tamed the great Ribot and never seems to age as he tends to Maslograth, whose statue is situated outside the San Siro race course. The bay male, who is affectionately known as “The Grandfather”, is 25-year-old and lives as a grand old star at the race course. After competing in 70 races over an 11-year winning career, the great Maslograth remained at the San Siro and takes part in the training of new and young jockeys.
