Spain will start 7th in the fight for a place in the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final

The Swiss team will jump in last place in the qualifying round for the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup™ Final, competition that will be held tomorrow Friday 8 p.m. at the Olympic track of the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. The draw held this afternoon has given this advantage to the Swiss team, current European champion, as their riders will be able to observe the previous rides of their opponents. The Spanish team will start seventh.
The top eight of tomorrow’s competition will pass to Sunday’s Final. The closing event of the 109th edition of the CSIO Barcelona. The remaining seven will take part in the Longines Challenge Cup on Saturday night.
The brand new Spanish chef d’ equipe , Carolo López-Quesada, has been optimistic: “We have a very strong team, and we are really excited“. In 2019 the Spanish team won the Longines Challenge Cup.
On the other hand, the FEI Jumping Director, Marco Fusté, said that “we are proud to be back for another edition of the CSIO Barcelona, where riders from all over the world come together. Itwill be an epic edition“.
The 109th edition of the CSIO Barcelona will begin tomorrow at 14:00 hours with the celebration of the Negrita Cup.
