Results round-up from Madrid Horse Week
Home rider Eduardo Alvarez Aznar has won the Mitsubishi Trophy at the CSI5*-W Madrid. The Spaniard was in action with the 11 year-old Belgian gelding Fidux.

The 1.55m trial with jump-off meanwhile was won by Ben Maher of Britain with the 11 year-old sorrel Diva II thanks to a double clear in 33.77 seconds.

As for the Italian riders, none of the Azzurri representatives could break into the top-30 as Luca Maria Moneta came 32nd and Lorenzo De Luca finished 44th.
However, Eugenio Grimaldi did come fourth in the CSI2* Ecuestre Trophy with Quidam S Moonlight while Guido Grimaldi and Hidalgo came ninth. The former also took third place in the Madrid Horse Week Trophy over 1.25m while the latter was Italy’s best performer in the Ifema Trophy over 1.40m thanks to a ninth place.
