Para-dressage, Great Britain set the rhythm at Deauville

The only International Para-Equestrian Dressage Competition held in France, the Deauville CPEDI***, returned last weekend for its eighth edition. Great Britain confirmed once again their leadship in the Nations Cup. Since 2012 they have been unbeaten, claiming victory also in the World Cup and European Championship.
Top riders of Team GB are Sophie Wells and Sophie Christiansen who took the honours respectively in Grade V and Grade I, with Susanna Hext and Lee Pearson completing the team quartet.
The Deauville CPEDI*** is a choice rehearsal only a few months before the major event of 2018, The World Equestrian Games, being held in Tryon in September.
