Normandy to host 2014 World Equestrian Games

The French region of Normandy will host the 2014 World Equestrian Games.
The president of the international equestrian federation, Princess Haya of Jordan, announced the decision, saying the French host was at “the heart of a region that shares our passion for horses.“
The competition is held every four years and includes eight different disciplines, with most of the events will be held in Caen. The next World Equestrian Games is Sept. 25-Oct. 10, 2010, in Lexington, Kentucky.
