Milan Winter Show from 20-22 November
The best promising Italian and international show-jumping riders will compete at Vermezzo
The event, prepared by Barbara Morali & C – who owns the sports center at Vermezzo – will be one of the closing events of the season with prize money € 61,500 dedicated to the “Grand Prix“ on Sunday 22 November.
For three days, the sports center will host 48 international riders representing 18 nations and as many Italians who will compete up to the highly anticipated Grand Prix.
Among the most anticipated, the young but talented Bertram Allen, number 7 in the world ranking list and standard-bearer of the Young Riders Academy, the project dedicated to the young talents of show jumping. Alongside Bertram will be Roger Yves Bost, Romain Duguet, Emanuele Gaudiano, Ulrich Kirchhoff and Christina Liebherr (current president of the International Jumping Riders Club). Also present was the Grand Prize winner in the last edition, Wilm Vermeir.
Many young riders including Emanuele and Massimiliano Bianchi Giampiero Garofalo – both protagonists during the World Cup stage in Verona – Chantal Müller (Swiss champion for Young Riders) and Margaux Rocuet, also in Verona for the World Cup on behalf of France. Margaux and Chantal are both part of the Young Riders Academy team.
Not only equestrian events at Vermezzo.
There is also space for other events and entertainment over these three days in Milan.
Do not miss the corner food with traditional flavors, home-made pizza Giorgio Sabbatini, former World and European Champion pizza-maker and home-made ice-cream from Roberto Cavaliere.
There will be an indoor Christmas market with exhibitors of luxury Italian craftsmanship.
Among the events there is a live show on Sunday 22 at 14.00 with two competitors from the X Factor Italy 2015 Boot Camp: Eva Cavani and Marco Gori.
There is free entry to the stands.
On Sunday, November 22, there will be provided free shuttle bus (round trip) from the Railway Station square at Albairate-Vermezzo: from 10.00 to 17.00 every 30 minutes.
The area of the stables of the CSI 3 * is the same as CSI1 * with 6 nations and 90 horses.
