Maik Esper takes victory in European Championship on Looney Tunes

Maik Esper ran to victory on Looney Tunes in the European Trotting Championships in Cesena and it went down to a final leg to decide who would win the Hera Trophy 2010 edition. Bellei against Esper and Claus Hollman against Holger Ehlert.The race started at midnight at the Savio of Cesena and it was a close contest bewteen the Bellei and Esper all the way to the finish line. In the end Esper was just too strong for the Italian Bellei and although it was a surprise it was certainly a well deserved win.
