The prestigious Longines Global Champions Tour is thrilled to announce its highly anticipated return to Vienna in 2025, marking a spectacular comeback to the Austrian capital after nearly a decade. This exciting event will take place at a brand new venue, the stunning Schönbrunn Palace, from 26th to 28th September 2025, and will continue annually through a newly signed five-year deal, running from 2025 to 2029.

Vienna, a city renowned for its rich history and cultural heritage, last hosted the Longines Global Champions Tour in 2016. The return of the world’s premier show jumping competition to this majestic city is set to captivate equestrian enthusiasts and sports fans alike.

The Schönbrunn Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of Austria’s most visited attractions, will serve as the breathtaking backdrop for this elite sporting event. Known for its baroque architecture and exquisite gardens, the palace offers a setting of unparalleled elegance and grandeur, perfectly complementing the high-caliber competition that the Longines Global Champions Tour and GCL team series is known for.

REMUS Innovation’s CEO Stephan Zöchling said: “In addition to the thrilling show jumping action, visitors will also be treated to exciting displays from The Spanish Riding School at Schönbrunn Palace, which is a world-renowned institution dedicated to the classical art of dressage with breathtaking performances of the Lipizzan horses, a perfect complement to the show jumping excitement. Moreover, guests at the event will also be able to enjoy the enchanting Deutschmeister Band at the Longines Global Champions Tour of Vienna, where classical music and history will come alive. The social and supporting program will offer a vide range of phantastic Austrian legacies.”
