Italy claim silver at Youth World Games ‘16

USA may be the leading nation when it comes to Trail Horse, Horsemanship, Showmanship and Hunt Seat Equitation, but Italy can safely say that they are not far behind.
At the recent Youth World Games 2016, the Azzurri did brilliantly to win the silver medal at the big event in Germany behind the winners USA.
Italy’s silver medal winning team was made up as follows: Alessia Smania, Alice dal Pio Luogo, Luca Cozzo and Simone Spadotto.
The Italian heroes were coached by Moira Gazzola and Ivan Simeoni, both western reining coaches, and were also supervised by Matteo Sala.
A total of 16 nations were taking part and the fantastic result highlights the excellent work being done at youth level in Italy.
