IPICA: Capannelle, Combat Place in Pole Position

The Galoppo horse track opens it’s gates on the first of october to a very interesting 1400 metre race over an all weather surface. Among the starting 11 is Combat Place riden by Carletto Fiocchi who, on paper, have the best chance of being among the first finishers. Trained by Maria Rita Salvioni, Lazio’s Dell’Olmo has been around a lot these past few months without being able to nail down a win. Premio Hula Dancer will definitely have a go, and attention should be paid to Golden Standard, dangerous prtege of Antonio Turco who will be on the excellent Polli. Pam Hall with Umbertino Rispoli and Chiffon of the Simonaggio clan appear quite probable to finish high. All up for grabs.
