HSJ: a look ahead to the main events over the coming days.
We’ve reached that time of the week folks where we look ahead to the pick of the weekend events from the world of show-jumping.
Let’s begin by reminding our followers that Verona takes centre stage this weekend for the CSI5* Jumping Verona- which is also staging the fourth leg of the FEI World Cup.
What’s more, visitors have free access to the Pala BMW in Verona today and tomorrow for the first CSI2* and CSI5* competitions. See here for more: www.fieracavalli.it
Moving away from Europe, the Sunshine Series, underway since the 28th of October, continues in California. One of the competitions on the agenda is the Sunshine Classic scheduled for today and with prize-money of 65,000$. Friday’s big one is the Coachella Valley Classic worth 100,000$ while Sunday’s Sunshine Grand Prix tops the bill with prize-money of 350,000$. Coming back closer to home, there are a host of other interesting events such as the CSI4* Liège (www.jumpingdeliege.be) and the CSI3* Munich (www.pferdinternational-muenchen.de). There is also a World Cup leg for the Arab Division in Algeria: http://fea-dz.com/index.php/component/content/article/181-csi-mostaganem
The international competitions keep on coming thick and fast in other parts of the world too such as Spain (Oliva Nova, Valencia – www.mediterranean-equestrian-tour.net) and Holland (Wierden – www.indoorwierden.com).
Finally, you can check out our Streamhorse TV link on the HSJ home-page for all the live streaming channels for the weekend events which includes the CSI4* Liege, Fieracavalli (with the exception of the World Cup) and CSI3* Munich.
