Global Champions Tour moves to Chantilly, France

With the CHIO at Aachen now over, the Global Champions Tour returns thjis week with the events at Chantilly, the third fixture in France after Cannes and Paris earlier in the year.
From July 25-27 all the attention will be focused on the splendid Castle at Chantilly which will host the event for this weekend. The riders will be immersed in a location steeped in culture and tradition for this GCT with a long tradition in equestrian sport and art. The castle was built in the 19th century and contains numerous works of art by painters like Raffaello, Botticelli and Delacroix Gericault within the museum and some of the furtniture goes all the way back to the era of King Louis XIV.
All this is contained in an elegant and vast park of around 115 hectares. In 1982 the Grand Ecuries was added to the complex which houses events and theatre productions throughout the year.
Chantilly is the place that houses the most equestrian centres and teams in the whole of France and in the following link you can see which stars will be attending the competition.
