After the huge success of Pursuit of Greatness with Marus Ehning, Global Champions has launched the second season featuring Longines Global Champions Tour and Olympic Champion Peder Fredricson.
The 10-episode docuseries gives an exclusive tour inside the life of legendary Swedish show jumper Peder Fredricson, highlighting the life and history of the Fredricson family and giving never before seen access to his training, horses, stables, and team.
Each episode reveals how he approaches every aspect of the sport from technique and training to fitness and mental strength. Fredricson and his guests for this season have all reached the pinnacle of success in their own fields, and their interactions with Peder help showcase a different side of the former world number one.
Fredricson is a unique character in the sport and this season explores the ways he develops to keep improving all aspects of the sport. The iconic show jumper is a couple of steps ahead and in episode one Peder explains why and how he had the confidence to do things differently to everyone else.
Telling GCTV Peder explains: “There really is room for improvement in equestrian sport. The better the horses feel, the happier they are the better they perform. So I have made some changes over the last few years for two reasons, one is because I want the horses to have a good life and the second reason is because I want to have success.”

A key aim of these 15min episodes for both Fredricson and Global Champions is to showcase show jumping at the highest level by giving exclusive access to the biggest names in the industry. This series aims to provide a passionate audience of superfans around the world with content that inspires, informs and entertains all ages.
