European Horseball Championships Showcases Promising Young Talent
Second Day of Competition
The European Horseball Championships continued its thrilling journey on the second day, with an exciting focus on the U10 Horseball Challenge. The event highlighted the immense importance of nurturing the new and younger generation in the sport, while also celebrating the support of our esteemed sponsors, KEP Italia helmets and Parlanti riding boots.
The U10 Horseball Challenge, a platform dedicated to young horseball enthusiasts, stole the show on day two. The competition witnessed tremendous displays of skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship from the rising stars of EquiValant Belgium and Italia. It was an intense match, with Italia emerging as the victors with a final score of 11-5.
Another gripping U10 match took place between Catalunya and France, resulting in a well-fought draw with a score of 4-4. These talented young players showcased their determination and passion for the sport, leaving spectators in awe of their abilities.
In the U16 category, the match between Great Britain and Portugal displayed remarkable talent on both sides. Portugal demonstrated their strength and finesse, securing a victory with a final score of 6-2. Meanwhile, Italia triumphed over Spain with a close score of 7-5, adding yet another thrilling match to the tournament.
The U21 division saw Spain dominate Belgium in an impressive display of skill, securing a resounding victory with a score of 12-1. On the other hand, the match between Portugal and Italia ended in an electrifying draw, with both teams scoring 8 points each.
The Ladies category showcased the exceptional talent of female athletes from different nations. Spain emerged victorious against Great Britain with a score of 8-4, while Italia delivered a remarkable performance, outplaying Belgium with a convincing score of 10-2.
In the highly anticipated Pro-Elite matches, Spain continued to assert their dominance in the tournament. They defeated Great Britain with a score of 12-5, showcasing their exceptional prowess and teamwork. Meanwhile, France demonstrated their strength against Belgium, securing a well-deserved victory with a score of 11-7.
