The international calendar of dressage also includes a French event, with the Nation Cup taking place from 18th to 20th May at the Stade Equestre du Grand Parc a Compiègne.
Last season Great Britain won this famous competition, but the French team promises surprises this year, especially ahead of the World Equestrian Games.
There are also several categories dedicated to young horses: apart from the pony category, which includes 12-year-old and 14-year-old riders, there is also a category called “Children on Horses“ (from 12 to 14 years ols), along with traditional ones for junior and young riders.
The event in Compiègne is also an important test for the young riders who will be involved in European Juvenile championships at Fontainebleau in July.
