DRESSAGE: GERMANS DOMINATE AT THE EUROPEAN JUNIOR AND YOUG RIDER CHAMPIONSHIPS
Everyone knows that German leads the way in dresssage and yesterday the European Junior and Young Rider Championships in Broholm, Denmark, this was yet again confirmed.In the Young Rider category, Germany took top spot with a total of 219, 737 ahead of the home team Denmark with a total of 210,947. The Dutch team came in third with 209,447. Germany also shined brightly in the Junior category with 217,622, again with Denmark second (211,324) and Holland third (209,243). Italy came in at ninth position with 193,622 ahead of France who only managed 190,000. For the individual events, the top three positions went to German riders, Louisa Luttgen on Habitus (74,623), Sanneke Rothenberger on Deveraux OLD (73,105) and third was Charlott-Maria Schurmann on Donna Jackson. Italian rider Riccardo Sanavio slipped from 13th place to 24 place with 65,737. In the Junior category, the German flag was once again flying high. Pia-Katharina Voigtlander riding Laetitian ahead of Vivien Niemann on Cipollini an third place went to Danish rider Nanna Skodborg Merrald riding Millibar.
