Dressage: Danish promising talents on show in Herning

A few months ago we followed the World Breeding Dressage Championships for Young Horses in Ermelo. Some promising talents stood out from the competition in the Netherlands and among these, the winner of the 7 year-old category continues to grab the headlines.
Fiontini, a superb Danish product selected for the dressage, who has been adding to the string of successes along with rider Jesus Jurado Lopez after lifting the World Cup last August (the third world youth title after winning the 6 year-old category in 2016 and the 5 year-old category in 2015).
The Fassbender mare has recently confirmed to be one of the most interesting subjects in this discipline by winning the Danish Young Horse Championship in the 7 year-old category with the score of 88.910%.
Second place was the stallion Kipling (Hofraat) mounted by Anne Troesengaard with the score of 82.974%. Behind him Fritzeck (Fiorano) under the saddle of Rikke Dupont.
It was not really a narrow victory for Fiontini, who got excellent results in the scoresheet: 9.8 in the trot, 9.5 in the gallop and 9 in the pace.
The 6-year category was won by Heiline’s Danciera with the score of 9.10, followed by Red Diamond (8.92) and third-placed Flora with the score of 8.76.
This week the World Cup in dressage is settled in Herning: a new spectacular framework for the Danish young stars to show off.
