Dressage, Aachen CHIO 2014: Isabell Werth and Don Johnson win GP

Let’s turn our attention now to dressage because there were some interesting trials taking place on Friday in this discipline.
Victoria Michalke won the trial reserved to Under 25s on Oldenburg Dance On (Dream of Heidelberg). Second place went to fellow German Nadine Husenbeth with Florida 94 (Fidermark I) and the final podium slot was taken by Spain’s Juan Matute Gimon with Don Diego Ymas (Don Frederico).

The dressage trials came to a close with the CDIO Special Lindt-Prize GP which was won by Isabell Werth with Don Johnson FRH (Don Frederico). Jessica von Bredow – Werndl came in second on Unee BB (Gribaldi) and Poland’s Beata Stremier with Rubicon D (Rubin – Royal) finished in third.

There are two events today in the dressage: the MEGGLE Prize GP Special CDIO at 09.00 followed by the Under 25s at 15.00.
