CSI Leipzig: Ahlmann and Gaudiano take centre stage.
Ahlmann jumped his way to victory with Cornado II earlier today in the 1.50m trial in Leipzig thanks to a time of 40.07 seconds in the jump-off.
Following behind we find Germany’s Felix Hassmann with Horse Gym’s Balance and Holland’s Gert Jan Bruggink with Vampire.
Luca Maria Moneta and his mount Connery ended the competition in 14th place after an error in the first round while fellow Azzurri rider Emanuele Gaudiano with Guess made 1 error over the hurdles and also received a time penalty.
However, the Italian came back strong to win the Youngster category with the 7 year-old mare Carlotta 232 after an impressive time of 51.83 seconds.
The Azzurri rider finished ahead of Hans Dieter Dreher with Pacavello and Markus Renzel who was riding with Blacky.
