Boyd Exell dominates the first leg of the FEI Driving World Cup™
Ijsbrand Chardon and Dries Degrieck complete the podium
The Equita Lyon, the first leg of the 2023/2024 FEI Driving World Cup™ , ended this Sunday, November 5th. The weekend wrapped up with the FEI Driving World Cup™ presented by LAITERIE DE MONTAIGU, the main event of the week. In the end, it was Champion Boyd Exell, accompanied by Emma Olsson and Luc Astigano, who secured victory in the four-in-hand competition on Sunday, placing at the top of the provisional World Cup driving standings.

The Australian recorded a total of 162.49 points at the reins of Bajno, Maestoso Jupiter, Barny 68, and Mad Max 81.
Ijsbrand Chardon accumulated penalty points in both the first round and the drive-off, earning him a silver medal and a total of 169.74. Dries Degrieck finished an impeccable drive-off but had some misfortune in the first round, securing the bronze with a total of 174.31 points.

Now, the circuit moves to Maastricht for the second leg of the 2023/2024 season of the World Cup Driving from November 9 to 12, 2023.
