Arezzo to welcome Global Champions Tour

All eyes will be on Arezzo this week when the Global Champions Tour 2009 gets under way on the first of nine stages that culminate in Doha between November 11-15. Meredith Michaels Beerbaum and Shutterfly won the event last year and speaking to Horse Show Jumping at the time, the German was clearly delighted, and said: “Shutterfly certainly found its comfort level here. It’s always wonderful to come to Italy and despite the rain the ground was in good condition.“ Beerbaum will return again this year and will be joined by Italian showjumpers such Gianni Govoni, Jonella Ligresti, Giulia Martinengo, Emilio Bicocchi, Natale Chiaudani, Piergiorgio Bucci along with a number of other top international names.
