Alviano holds Mounting Championship

The Alviano Play Horse Farm equestrian center held the Italian Championship and Trophy for the Regions for two Fitetrec disciplines: traditional and fast work mounting. Here they are!The 2016 Italian Mounting Championship was held in Alviano, in the province of Terni, last weekend, with the Open category won by Federico Benedetti on Ilary with a score of 54, followed by Norberto Vigiani on Murighedda (39) and Simon Bagnesi riding Zenzerino with 34 points. In the Junior category the top step of the podium went to Michele Pistoria on Murighedda (49), ahead of Cristina Castagnola on Charmine Ice (45) and Alice Menghini on Billy (41). The Amateurs Category for fast work, a discipline that sees a single time trial in which the pair faces a series of trials and obstacles, was won by Federica Anselmi on Giada ( 48 points), followed by Alessandro Costantini riding EJ (42) and Vincent Marcellini on Othello 39.The Trophy for the Regions saw gold for Lazio, followed by Marche, silver, and Tuscany, bronze.
Looking at the different categories of the Trophy for the Regions Monta Lazio still triumphed in the Open, thanks to the combination of Federico Benedetti / Ilary (54 points), followed by Marche with Norberto Vigiani / Nurighedda (39) and Tuscany, with Simone Bagnesi on Zenzerino (35). The juniors, however, has seen Liguria dominate with first and third place: gold so for Cristina Castagnola / Charmine Ice with 51 points, followed by Lazio Alice Menghini / Billy, 44 points, and then Giorgia Frittoli / Jecpepper Solar, 41 points .
In the Amateur category it was Federica Giada Anselmi (49), followed by Lazio with Alessandro Costantini on E. J. (43) and then Tuscany with Nedo Zamboni on Corallo (36). The Fitetrec Ante saw crowned in the highest category, the Open, Roberto Fontanelli on Dourado (12 points), followed by Paul Sensi on Navart (10) and Francesco Sinibaldi riding Tramontana (9). The Junior division saw gold for Sophia Baciola riding Cartagena (12), ahead of Sara Quartini on Pilot (10) and Matteo Sirigiu on Kelly (9). The Juniors category went to Alessia Vannoni on M. Nevada delle Selvacce with 12 points, followed by Lorenzo Mastio on Red Crowm Mastio (10) and Zeno Pagliettini on Porcupine (9). The novices was won by Luca Corrado on Mr Creb (12), followed by Massimo Morra riding Francesco (10) and Filippo Gozzi on CS Genuine (9). Finally, the Amateurs: Gold for Loris Matticoli on Violin, 12 points, followed by David Jimenez Romero on Fandango (10) and Luca Autuori riding Lucy (9).
The Regions Trophy for traditional work has seen once again Lazio crowned champions (79 points, followed with 59 points by Umbria and Emilia Romagna with 45).
The highest Regions Trophy in the traditional working class, the Open, was once again won by Lazio – with Paul Sensi and Navart, Renzo Bersaglia on Shadowfax and Veronica Sensi on Shofy – with 61 points, followed by Tuscany with 57 (Roberto Fontanelli / Dourado, Chiara Grillini / Cuiter Honey Tayrs, Alessandro Ceccherelli / M. Raisins), and Umbria with 30 points (Francesco Sinimbaldi on Tramontana).
