Giampiero Garofalo was born in 1994 and has taken part in four editions of the youth European Championships and the man from Naples has collected 26 victories since starting his international career in 2013.
As for the more experienced De Luca, he was born in 1987 and the man from Lecce established himself as an international rider in Belgium where he worked initially with Neil Jones before passing to the prestigious Stephex Stables where his riding partner is none other than Daniel Deusser.
De Luca took part at the WEG in Caen in 2013, the European Championships in Aachen earlier this year and has been included in several Italy squads for this season’s Furussiyya FEI Nations Cup. The Italian rider was also a part of the Azzurri’s excellent win on home soil in Arezzo which earned them promotion and a place amongst Europe’s elite show-jumping nations.
