280 horses at the Solaro Equestrian Centre
The national equestrian competition organised by the Sanremo equestrian club is in full flow at Solaro where 280 horses and almost 200 riders are competing.
The main event of the day has already been held, the C140 won by carabiniere officer and Italy team member, Massimo Grossato, in the saddle of the Belgian horse Ambriorix Van Het Polderhof.Second came Silvan Graziotti from Como, third Belgian Celine Schoonbroodt. One place off the podium was home idol, Brazilian Rafael Amaral Rodrigues, instructor at the equestrian centre in the Turin area. Grossato, from Turin himself, should be one of the stand-out performers in these three days of competition. Meanwhile he has arrived in Saremo with as many as nine horses.Photo: Sanremo Equestrian World
