2025 Quarter Dream $317,300-Added IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby: Ancillary action keeps CremonaFiere buzzing

Cremona, March 27 – While the IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Derby contenders enjoyed a day off in Cremona, the Quarter Dream Arena at CremonaFiere remained lively with NRHA Open and Non Pro Ancillary classes and the World Reining 2025 qualifications.

NRHA Open Ancillary Action

With a score of 217.5, Valentina Sagmeister and Whizkey And Gun (Dun It For Whizkey x Pretty Miss Smokegun), a 5-year-old stallion owned by Barbara Leitner and bred by Irmgard Brendgens, took the $2,080-Added GD Performance Horses Open title.

In the $1,040-Added GD Performance Horses Intermediate Open, Franziska Wallner rode Captain Chex Sparrow (Smooth Move Chex x Prosecco Enterprise), a 6-year-old stallion owned and bred by Heidi Wallner, to victory with a 216.

The $208-Added GD Performance Horses Limited Open saw a tie for first place between Alessio Pizzuti and Grays On Mate (Lights On Mate x Miss Eva Kant), a 5-year-old mare owned by Az. Agr. Abruzzo Horse Academy and bred by La Masseria dei Cavalieri, and Gisela Denk with RQH Justalenasjessie (HA Stardust x Justanother Lil Ruf), an 8-year-old mare owned by Andrea Peitler and bred by Ferdinand Risk, both scoring 213.

NRHA Non Pro Ancillary Action

The Tenuta Equitem $1,040-Added NRHA Non Pro win went to Gregory Morat, who scored 213.5 aboard his Spook Design (NRHA 8 Million Dollar Sire Smart Spook x Designed With Shine), a 6-year-old gelding bred by Rosanne Sternberg.

With a 214.5, Pietro Sala and his Custom Rosalita (Custom Blackberry x Margarita Boonsmal), a 10-year-old mare bred by Laura Quaglia, secured the Tenuta Equitem $832-Added NRHA Intermediate Non Pro title and tied for first place in the Tenuta Equitem $208-Added NRHA Limited Non Pro with Ludovica Zambelli, who posted the same score aboard her OT Dont Miss To Wish (Dont Miss My Guns x OT Taris Wish Miss), an 8-year-old gelding bred by Appaloosa Srl.

A thrilling Friday ahead in Cremona

On Friday, March 28, the competition will feature the IRHA/FISE Debuttanti Entry Level Youth Bis Championship Finals, NRHA Youth classes, and the World Reining 2025 Junior Riders qualifier.

The day will conclude with the much-anticipated QUARTER DREAM IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA DeNiroBootCo. Non Pro Derby Finals, featuring impressive numbers:

  • $36,920-Added IRHA/IRHBA Level 4 Non Pro52 entries, bubble score: 212.5
  • $14,040-Added IRHBA Level 3 Non Pro59 entries, bubble score: 210.5
  • $8,840-Added IRHBA Level 2 Non Pro76 entries, bubble score: 209.5
  • $6,760-Added IRHBA Level 1 Non Pro47 entries, bubble score: 208
  • $27,229.09-Added IRHA Level 4 Non Pro79 entries, bubble score: 212.5
  • $9,076.36-Added IRHA Level 3 Non Pro95 entries, bubble score: 212
  • $5,218.91-Added IRHA Level 2 Non Pro136 entries, bubble score: 210

Saturday action and the grand finale

On Saturday, March 29, the event will kick off with the IRHA/FISE Debuttanti Green Level and Debuttanti Short Stirrup Championship Finals, leading up to the highlight of the competition: the Quarter Dream IRHA/IRHBA/NRHA Open Derby Finals.
