Claudio Risso and Rs Icarus Jac Non Pro Futurity Champions – John Masi de Vargas and Dualin Surprise are the Intermediate Non Pro and Limited Non Pro Champions and Reserve Champions!Manerbio, 13.11.2009 – The first championship of 2009 as approved by the NRHA Futurity IRHA reserved for horses of three-years-old, has taken place in Manerbio at the Palasturla, in what is the 25th edition of the Futurity itself.Claudio Risso on Rs Icarus Jac won with 216 points was first following his success at the German Breeders Futurity last month.He said: “To to win two championships in one month on this really great horse makes me really happy.“The youngest “winner“ of the evening was 16-year-old Giovanni ‘Dido’ Masi De Vargas who picked up 215 points to finish second in the Futurity Non Pro.The Reserve Champions Intermediate Non Pro del futurity went to Mauro Pingani on Leolena Jac (Spat Olena x Rs Last Leos Jac) with 207 points while the Futurity Limited Open found Pietro Paolo Ambrosini on Ms Twist Whiz, a horse owned by the Ambrosini Qh, out of Topsail Whiz x Miss Solano Twist, in top spot with 211.5 points.In the Cri, with 215.5 points was Davide Brighenti on Ot Taris San Peppy owned by his wife, Giuditta Foti, was first. Second and half a point behind was Christian Perez on the stallion owned by Franco Rosso, was Mr Ali Bo San.The Italian Open Championship went to Paolo Polesel on Freelander Boss owned by Guido Persello, with 218 points.  Markus Schopfer with 215.5 points was second on Peptos Lil Bingo, owned by Braam Qh and Davide Brighenti on Ot Taris Peppy was third.The  Nrha Open saw an Austrian Rudi Kronsteiner on Nrha Open World Champion, the German horse Chic N Roost owned by Priscilla Jaquard was first with 220 points – point difference ahead of Italian Stefano Angelucci on Arc Customatic, owned by Angelucci Qh.
