Show Jumping CSI2* in Morsele


At 14:30 today the Grand Prix jumping 145 cm course will be held in Morsele.
Yesterday evening the second qualifying round on the metre and 40 centimetres was disputed. Victory went to Levy Pascal riding Witi, after the barrage (0-38.88).


Update from the CICO3* in Fontainebleau


After the Cross Country discipline in Fontainebleau, France, there is a change on the podium. Nicolas Touzaint has taken the lead with Hidalgo de L’Ile (40.6 points in total).
Behind him is Bettina Hoy from Germany riding Ringwood Cockatoo 942.5 points). Whilst Lucy Wiegersma on Shaabrak leapfrogged Simone Deitermann, and his steed Falmbeau H3, to claim third spot.


The Italian 'Long List' for the Euros has been released


The FISE (The Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports) has released the 'long list' for the European Championships to be held in Fontainebleau, France, from the 24th - 27th September.


Showing Jumping: The British Equestrian Federation starts a 12-month training course

A new and interesting initiative has emerged from Great Britain regarding professional training in the equestrian sector: the British Equestrian Federation has launched a development programme for youngster riders. The Sporting Excellence Study Programme was announced last November and is the result of collaboration between Haddon Training and British Showjumping will give teenagers between the ages of 16 and 19 to obtain the Certificate in Understanding and Achieving Sporting Excellence.
