People have used horse milk for skin complaints for many years in both countries and it has produced positive results.

Pharmacy admits "wrong" dosage for Florida ponies

A Florida pharmacy has admitted that the dosage of the medication it prepared for 21 polo ponies that died earlier this week was "incorrect".

The horses, from a Venezuelan-owned team, collapsed and died at the weekend ahead of the US Open Polo Championship at Wellington in Palm Beach County.

The post-mortem of 21 polo ponies that died in Florida has shown the presence of blood and fluid in the horses’ lungs.

The authorities are ever more convinced that the cause of death may be a toxin or poisoning. The investigators are awaiting the results of toxicological tests.
