Mid-Season Transfer News: Henrik Von Eckermann joins GCL as team championship race hots up

Henrik von Eckermann has been signed up for Scandinavian Vikings team in the GCL mid-season transfer period, while the majority of squads remain untouched retaining their star strikers for the critical race to the finals in New York and the GC Playoffs in Prague.


First ever CDIO4* in Finland together with CSIO2*

Equestrian Centre Aino is proud to host the first ever 4 star CDIO competition in Finland. The Aino Nations Cup Finland is also a joint event with FEI Nations Cups both in Dressage and Jumping, on one arena. Already on the first year the teams in both disiplines have shown interest in coming to Finland. There are three teams in Dressage, Sweden, Estonia and Finland, and four in Jumping, Italy, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

Sheer Brilliance As Van Der Vleuten Takes Split Second Monaco Win

Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) sent pulses racing with a formidable F1-style victory on Beauville Z in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix du Prince de Monaco presented by Tennor on the 10th leg of the International circuit.


Barely a second separated the top four riders in a breathtakingly fast 10-way jump-off where Bassem Mohammed (QAT) and Gunder stepped up on the podium as the runner-up, while the lightning-quick combination of Julien Epaillard (FRA) and Usual Suspect d’Auge could only manage a third place finish.



Masters One – Prix du Canton de Vaud Bryan Balsiger is a master in Lausanne

The challenging Masters One - Prix du Canton de Vaud has had only six clear rounds on its base course. Of these six, three are members of the Riders Lab. The Riders Lab offers the opportunity for the most promising young riders to compete in the Longines Masters international series. In the end, it was young Bryan Balsiger who won this round in the fashion of a master with Dubai du Bois Pinchet.


First podiums at the Longines Masters of Lausanne

Enchanting sights, spectacular setting, magical place…are just some of the praises the riders have used to describe the venue of the very first Longines Masters event in Lausanne. Said Caroline Ratignan, the American rider who captured the very first victory in Lausanne in the Masters Three - 1.15m, “The venue is amazing…to be right on the water with the mountains in the background is just surreal.” The very first event of the Masters One was seized by none other than the speedy Italian, Emanuel Gaudiano.

Show jumping’s superstars head south from Stockholm this week, towards the Portuguese coast for the Longines Global Champions Tour of Cascais, Estoril where there could be a real shake up in the top ten on the 2019 Championship rankings.

The Event Rider Masters next heads to Belgium for Leg 3 of the 2019 series at Concours Complet D’Arville, where the action will take place amidst the rolling hills and expansive woodlands of the family estate of Guillaume de Liedekerke. Show Jumping Superstars Head to Inaugural LGCT Stockholm

For the first time in Longines Global Champions Tour history Stockholm, Sweden will take its place on the global circuit, joining a powerful list of cities from around the world. With the first of three new additions to the Championship kicking off this week, all eyes will be on the world-famous riders who head to the Swedish capital city to take on the eighth leg of the 2019 series.
