Switzerland Hold Team Jumping Gold Medal Position Ahead of Thrilling Finale in Tryon

Tryon, NC USA - September 20, 2018 - Switzerland will take a narrow lead into Friday's eagerly-awaited team finale of the Bank of America Merrill Lynch Jumping Championship at the FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 (WEG).

Italy's Lorenzo de Luca heads the individual competition, which finishes on Sunday. The host nation of the United States also made its presence felt through brilliant displays by McLain Ward and Adrienne Sternlicht that pushed the team into second behind the Swiss, with Germany in third.

Longines China Tour 2018

The Longines China Tour of Beijing Great Wall took place as a CSI3* tournament from 14 to 16 September 2018 for the very first time at the foot of Great Wall of China. It was a premiere that a high-level equestrian event could be held in the historic Ju Yong Guan site north of Beijing. Dutch rider Vincent Vermeulen secured victory in the main event, the Longines Grand Prix on Sunday, on the gelding Ceylon. Second was Kenneth Cheng from Hong Kong China and third place went to Chinese rider Jirigala Erdeng.


Home FEI World Equestrian Games™ Tryon 2018 Gives U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage Team presented by Deloitte Extra Push in Podium

The U.S. Para-Equestrian Dressage Team presented by Deloitte will siphon the positive home crowd energy when they begin their FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG) Tryon 2018 podium campaign, beginning on Tuesday, September 18. The team of Rebecca Hart, Angela Peavy, Kate Shoemaker, and Roxanne Trunnell, led by Chef d’Equipe Kai Handt, will perform the FEI Individual Test in their respective grades on Tuesday and Wednesday. Individual medals will be awarded in each grade. On Thursday and Friday, they will perform the FEI Team Test in their respective grades.

09 September 2018, Spruce Meadows, Canada – The CP ‘International’, presented by Rolex has been won by Egypt’s Sameh El Dahan at the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’. Second place went to Maikel van der Vleuten (NED) riding Verdi TN and Beezie Madden (USA) riding Coach came in third.

Only 30 days left for the equestrian event of the year

Three months after hosting the equestrian competition of the Mediterranean Games, there are only 30 days left before the Real Club de Polo Barcelona’sOlympic arena welcomes, for the 6th year in a row, the Longines FEI Jumping Nations Cup Final. The world’s most important team competition with the highest prize money will take place from the 5th to the 7th of October.
