The best of the best to Spring MET II 2019: World number one Steve Guerdat returns to Oliva

Next week, the Mediterranean Equestrian Tour’s spring edition continues with its second part of competition – the Spring MET II. Starting on the 5th of February and running until the 24th, Spring MET II includes three weeks of competition in total. The first two weeks of competition are at CSI2* level and the last week concludes the Spring MET II with classes at CSI3* level. Each week also offers classes for young horses at the age of five, six and seven.

American Equus Chosen Riders Shine at Pegasus World Cup Invitational Series

Hallandale Beach, Fla. - Jan 28, 2019 - On Saturday, the Pegasus World Cup Invitational was held for the third consecutive year at Gulfstream Park. The Pegasus World Cup Invitational is the richest race in America and this year added the Pegasus World Cup Turf Invitational to account for $16 million in prize money. Though the weather made for less than desirable conditions, ultimately it was American Equus riders Irad Ortiz Jr. and Javier Castellano who came out on top in both the turf and the track races.

Guadalajara, MX, January 26, 2019 – Time was of the essence at the Guadalajara Country Club for the $1,900,000 (~$100,000 U.S.) Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Guadalajara. After a 24-strong first round and four-horse jump-off, Mexico’s own Salvador Onate and Big Red claimed the top spot in the
feature event of the 2019 Triple Copa Scappino CSI4*-W, presented by Audi.

Season IV of the Longines Masters continues in Hong Kong

Season IV of the Longines Masters maintains its momentum: after Paris last December, it’s now landing in Hong Kong from 15 to 17 February. For its seventh edition, the Longines Masters of Hong Kong will once again bring together the best of equestrian sports and lifestyle under the roof of AsiaWorld-Expo and will also host the second edition of the Asia Horse Week.

An event which, since 2009 and the victory of the then reigning World Champion (Belgian Jos Lansink), has seen all the greatest riders of the decade come and go. The 2018 vintage will be no exception to the rule with, among other things, the participation of nine Olympic champions in the Masters One events!
